ARKU has been working with sheet metal since 1928 and has become the European market leader in leveling and feed equipment. Our headquarter are in Baden-Baden. In the center of the Technologie Region Karlsruhe we produce leveling machines and turnkey coil lines.

ARKU offers a broad range of levelers. From precision levelers for parts and sheets to high-capacity levelers for coiled material.ARKU levelers are integrated into turnkey press feed systems, coil preparation lines for roll forming, and cut-to-length lines.Thousands of ARKU levelers are in use throughout the world and we have become the market leader in leveling and coil feed equipment.

With our ARKU leveling centers in Baden-Baden, Cincinnati and Kunshan, and a large network of representatives, we offer a special service to our customers. We enable them to realize leveling tests with their own material on our wide range of leveling machines. Furthermore, we offer contract leveling services for everyone.

For sheet metal parts with a thickness from 0.3 mm to 5 mm

The precision levelers of the EcoMaster® series deliver consistently high-quality leveling results, especially when working with smaller, more delicate sheet metal parts. Achieve better results in subsequent processes with flat and stress free parts. The EcoMaster® is user friendly and easy to maintain, ensuring efficient operation.

Application in the aerospace industry

The ARKU EcoMaster® aerospace design was specifically developed  for leveling parts in the aerospace industry. The high-strength and light materials needs to be processed in a chilled state. Important machine components can corrode in levelers with a rudimentary design.

The affected  components in the EcoMaster® are protected against corrosion. This allows the machine to deliver consistently good and reliable leveling results.

For sheet metal parts with a thickness from 0.5 mm to 60 mm

The FlatMaster® hydraulic precision leveler is the result of more than 40 years experience in building parts leveling machines.

Leveling with the FlatMaster® is a quick and simple process. Compared to other leveling methods, the FlatMaster® delivers leveled and nearly stress-free punched, laser-cut and flame-cut parts in only a matter of minutes. This makes subsequent processes such as welding, or bending faster and more reliable.

Special features

  • Leveling gap control
Provides consistently good leveling results even on parts with cut-outs. See our video clip for more information.
  • Leveling roller quick-change system
During day-to-day production, dirt and material residue can accumulate inside the leveler. The maintenance and thorough cleaning of the leveler can be performed quickly and easily.
  • Overload protection
The leveling process creates strong counteracting forces between the material and the leveling unit. Before an excessive level of force is reached, the machine will stop and raise the leveling unit.
  • Intuitive control
The easy to use digital control screen features a value database for saving individual job settings and even provides a recommended inlet/outlet values based on material thickness

Leading construction machine manufacturers, crane technology experts, flame cutting specialists, stainless steel and noble metal processors along with numerous other industries all successfully use the FlatMaster®.

For large sheet metals and plates with thicknesses of 4 mm to 80 mm

The PlateMaster® has been designed to level large-surface sheet metals (width up to 3,000 mm) and thick plates (thickness up to 80 mm) economically.
The hydraulic leveler is designed especially for heavy plate fabricators.

The PlateMaster® has an intentionally less complex design and is also a less costly acquisition for customers. The hydraulic leveler has been specifically designed for robust conditions. It is unaffected by soiling and can be cleaned quickly and easily. Easy cleaning of the leveler is highly important, especially when processing large sheet metal plates, as these are often covered with rust and scale.

ARKU’s quality features, the servo-hydraulic leveling gap control and overload protection, are also integrated into the PlateMaster®. As with the FlatMaster®, consistent leveling results and protection against machine damage are guaranteed.

Special features:

  • Especially for large sheet metals and plates
  • Robust and invulnerable to dirt
  • Effortless leveling of rusted and soiled parts
  • Easy and quick cleaning of the leveling unit
  • Consistently good leveling results due to servo-hydraulic leveling gap control
  • Hydraulic overload protection
